5 Months Old, It's a whole new world...

Rolling over. A lot.  Like it is no big deal.  Just 2 weeks ago it was a struggle and 2 weeks before that not at all.

We have introduced an Exersaucer activity center and it is awesome!  She is totally obsessed with it.  She loves sitting and even tries her hardest to sit up from lying down.  In your lap she is a wiggle worm, so ready to be on the go.  Time to baby proof - she will be on the move in no time!

Chloe is very curious; interested in everything.  And of course if she gets her hands on it, it goes straight in her mouth.  She has even tried drinking out of a cup after she showed interest in chewing (well gumming) on my water glass.  We have every sign of teething except the teeth - it is coming soon we're sure.

Poppy Turns 2!

We can't forget about our fur princess, Poppy!  This month she turned 2, and is showing no signs of calming down. ha!

Jack got his own celebratory cupcake treat and of course Poppy had to try to steal it for herself!

Four Months Old

The nudie at the doctor's office

A Family Affair

It was quite the family affair when old and new relatives traveled in from all over the week before Thanksgiving.

Two new little baby girls joined the Kane family this year; Chloe you know and now meet Monroe, Simon and mine's niece!  The beautiful rough-and-tumble 10 month old daughter of Simon's brother, Tommy and my best friend, Misty.

From Wisconsin, Misty brought Monroe, her other daughter Nevaeh (5), and her parents Christine and Dan.  From England came Tommy and Jeff, Simon's dad.  Sue, Simon's mom, also made a trip over from SD.  It was parties galore this week, and we even hosted an impromptu early Thanksgiving.  It was a beautiful and perfect meeting for everyone included.

AN EARLY THANKSGIVING

EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FROM THE KANES IN ENGLAND

And the end of the story is just the beginning for these two little cousins.  Plans are being made for a hopeful permanent reunion.  Amazing how God always has a sneaky little plan up his sleeve.

A Trip to the Zoo

As an early Christmas gift, we got a membership to the Phoenix Zoo. We live just 10 minutes door to gate so this definitely will get a lot of use over the next year.

We saw the rhino, baboons, tiger, lions (sleeping), giraffes, and elephants (eating).  We also saw a cheeky monkey (or two).

Last stop at the Carousel ride. Chloe loved that shiny gold pole!
